The Vision of Vaikunta
Saakshat Parabrahma Swarupa
That day was Vaikunta Ekadashi, the day on which Sri Maha Vishnu gives
darshan through the northern door of Vaikunta. Raja Reddy, a devotee of Swami
was sleeping in the verandah upstairs in Prasanthi Nilayam. At the midnight, he
woke up. On opening his eyes, he could see brilliant effulgence coming out of
Swami's room. Raja Reddy looked into the room through the doorway. A few divine
forms were bowing at the Lotus feet of Swami in succession and Swami was
enthroned like Maha Vishnu on Adisesha. There were also seven fires around
Swami's bed. Raja Reddy was shocked to see that. He slowly closed the door and
slept on the verandah. The next day, Raja Reddy told Swami about the scene that
he saw last night and asked, "Swami! Who are all those?" Then Swami
said, "All those are deities. They have come for my darshanam. Those seven
fires are the Saptarshis (the seven sages). You are alive because of my grace.
Otherwise, you would have been burnt to ashes on seeing that scene." Sri
Sathya Sai Baba is Saakshat Parabrahma Swarupa (the embodiment of supreme
power).
