THE SPACE (AKASHA)
The space – Akasha
- in Hinduism is called a Tattva. Akasha (space) is both an abstract and a
conscious principle and is considered a God or Devata originated from Brahman.
The Realm of space in which the Universe is contained, is the Infinite unbound
Whole or a limitless area m which all things exist and move in Rhythm
Akasha
Akasha originates from
Brahman and its representation is Sound and perception organ is Ear. The
primordial sound was that of Aum (Aum). Then creation, was formed of
space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. Aum is the life principle of creation,
which we call Pranava Sound. Other electromagnetic waves which pass through
Akasha are Thoughts, Emotions, Actions, Light, Sound, Magnetism, Radiations,
Gravitation and many more which man does not know. Space is full of vibrations
or Rhythm The vibration forms Waves. The man with spiritual learnings and
thinking has been trying from time immemorial to merge with and through the
space within him-the Mother space and has located an aperture in the human
body, reported to be located at right in the centre of both eyebrows called the
Third Eye, in Hindu philosophy and the Tenth Duar (door) in Sikh
philosophy, to escape from-when in trance and come back after an experience
and a debacle with the Divine Mother.
This Mother space is
equally connected with the outer space of the Earth and all other celestial
bodies of the universe including the Sun, the Moon, the Star galaxies and what
not as we see and enjoy every moment of our existence in this world. The
Light of the Sun, the Moon and Stars would not have been able to reach us if
space was not One Infinite Hold and Whole.
Science has arrived
at the conclusion that the Songs or Bhajans which were sung and the words which
were spoken years ago could now be taped by very fine instruments because sound
never dies; Baba says, "Vaak (Sound), Manas (The Mind) and Praana
(The life force) together constitute the Atma, so when you speak softly,
sweetly with compassion, it brings healing power to you as well as to the
listener." So also Sweet, Lovable Bhajans cleanse the atmosphere and bring
healing effect to all people who listen to them.
Songs (Bhajans)
with Bhava (thoughts) touch the Sukhshma Sharira and the Mind of
all who take part in singing and bring emotions, Mind and prana in rhythm, so
healing takes place in Sthul Deha (physical Body), and the same effect is
that of prayers to God. The Universal consciousness (God) is shaken by prayers.
So, He sends help to the person who prays.
"As the air we
breathe is of God's creation and available to all, so the awareness of God and
His power and mercy has to be available to all. True seekers on the spiritual
path must hold on to this wide outlook and on to the universality of this
message. Then, the conflict between disparate faiths and creeds disappears by
itself and peace and love will be restored on Earth-through space and through
vibrations."
